the adept roguefor all your jack-of-all trade needsAs discussed in Haseo @ Play, our hot-headed little lead's class of choice is the Adept Rogue. According to the official game guide:"These are the jack-of-all-trades in The World. Over time as they increase in level and complete various quests, they gain access to the various weapons and relevant Arts used by other jobs, but because they are leveling different weapons at once, they tend to have access to much fewer Arts than a "pure" job of the same level that uses that weapon. In short, while the Adept Rogue has a lot of ground to make up for, at the end of the day he is one bad mofo.During creation, the player chooses three classes for the rogue using a points system, i.e. four points are allocated toward the classes of his choice. The starting class is unlocked upon entry into The World, but the additional two must be gained through Job Extension Quests. These are specially orchestrated events from CC Corp just for Adept Rogues. Haseo begins with Twin Blades and an outfit worthy of a cyberpunk brothel.
This may sound a little confusing, but allow me to quote the highly respected Nao of losstarot.net. Her expertise in this field is unsurpassed, as you can tell from the following quote: "Yeah, that's how I took [the Xth form's development]. Like maybe they had a bad connection before so the cable guy came out and now they get real broadband."I couldn't have said it better myself. I think. Xth form wields a pair of gun-blade-things which shoot eight rounds at a time. The closer you get to the monster, the more damage you deal. Haseo also has a Dual Trigger option now, so after finishing a Skill attack, he can go right into another, smaller one. Sweet. |
