By popular demand, a page talking about Death Grunty and Haseo! No, really, there was a demand for this page from certain unnamed individuals. I quote: "NEEDS MOAR GRUNTY". Who am I to not listen to the voice of the people?Death Grunty is the official mascot of Canard, a specific NPC manufactured to reflect the guild's guildmaster. In this case, Haseo. He looks like Haseo, he acts like Haseo, and so, obviously, Haseo hates his guts and he hates Haseo's in return. The two never seem to get along, going so far as to try and beat each other up on a fairly regular basis. Death Grunty is loathe to admit Haseo is the master of the guild, and instead calls himself the "manager" and addresses Haseo as his "servant". Once Haseo starts proving himself as a guildmaster, Death Grunty's opinion of Haseo begins to shift slightly. He occasionally congratulates him, though is quick to remind him that a true guildmaster's work is never done. While the relationship with Death Grunty is never explored in much depth, we can pretty much assume that Haseo takes the stick out and starts enjoying their daily bickering. Death Grunty, meanwhile, will always be there to knock his ego down a peg or two. Luckily, that's just what Haseo needs. |
